Daddy sure knows how to live it up when he is on vacation from work. In one week he treated his girls to a day at Stinson Beach, It's It ice cream sandwiches (a delicacy originating from San Francisco) at the Suisun Marina, and TWO Giants games at the beautiful AT&T Park. I must say, Adisson is proving to be quite the baseball fan. Throughout both games she hollered, "Go Giants!!" At one point during the first game, the entire stadium was making noise and although Adisson couldn't make out what exactly was going on, she was willing to participate and started yelling and making all sorts of facial expressions in an attempt to mimic the rest of the fans. At the second game she gave high-fives and could not contain her excitement, not even for a solitary moment to take a picture (the evidence is pictured below). You'd think the excitement would've tired her out, but oh no! When we arrived home she enthusiastically chorused, "take me out to the ball game! Take me out to the ball game!! Buy me cracker jacks... one! Two! Three strikes you're out at the old, ball game!!!!!"

Buzzing to Disneyland
At 3-years-old Adisson has had the privilege of going to Disneyland twice already. My gracious mom treated her grandkids to a trip down to Anaheim, CA, where we visited with family, toured Santa Monica, and played at Disneyland. This time around Adisson was very fond of the Disney characters. I was so proud of her and even came close to tears when she met Minnie Mouse. As Minnie knelt down and extended her arms towards Adisson, Adisson ran into her arms and they hugged for a very precious moment. Afterwards, we went to visit Goofy and I asked Adisson if she wanted me to be in the picture with her. She turned to look at me, held up her hand in a silent motion to stop me in my footsteps and said, "Mommy, no. You stay."

Potential Employee
One day Adisson put on her pink backpack and said, "Mommy, I'm going to work." Adisson had never told me about this endeavor before. In astonishment I asked, "you are?" Adisson answered, "yes. Adisson works very hard." I was curious to know more about her current employment so I asked, "really? Where do you work?" She looked at me as she turned to walk down the hallway and said, "Adisson works very hard at the hot dog place." I wonder if the Costco food court would accept an application from my 3-year-old??

Adisson the Photographer
On January 7, Keenan and I celebrated our 4-year wedding anniversary. We celebrated the occasion with an indoor picnic. The menu: salad, chicken tortilla soup, and turkey sandwiches with veggie straws. Adisson was kind enough to document our special day by taking pictures of Daddy and Mommy all by herself. Below is a picture she took. Note her cute little finger on the left-hand side. I'd say she's showing potential to be a great photographer!

Ringing in the New Year!
In 2009 we had our fair share sick days. Adisson caught a cold, an ear infection, a never-ending runny nose, the flu, along with croup cough and it was as if the infections took turns and traded off. If it was not one thing, it was another. Adisson got to the point where she was asking for the "thurmoter" (translation: thermometer) and "mesin" (translation: medicine). We were SO ready for a new year and new beginnings.
Despite feeling a little under the weather, Adisson did not let that stop her from ringing in 2010 with daddy, mommy, and some close friends. Daddy won us a Wii at his company Christmas party, so Adisson enjoyed the night playing basketball with the Daddy and the guys and later danced the night away with Mommy and the gals. Goodbye 2009... hello 2010!!
